Mo:Dem Festival is located at Donje Primišlje 11, exactly half way between SLUNJ and OGULIN.

We encourage you to use public transport wherever possible. If you’re driving and you have a spare space in your vehicle, think about offering a ride to a fellow Modemhead.

 

If you arrive in Croatia by plane or bus, you can get to the festival location in two easy ways.

 

Fast shuttle service will take you from the agreed destination directly to the entrance of the festival camping. This service is only available through our partners Permansio.

 

Public transport is a cheaper and more adventurous way to roll. There is a bus service operating daily from all major cities to Slunj.

 

Good websites to book your online bus tickets are Get By Bus or Flixbus.

 

The closest cities to the festival that you can fly to are Zagreb and Zadar.

Gates open at 12:00 on Saturday 5th August and close on Monday 14th August in the evening.

 

Music starts in the evening on Monday the 7th of August and will stop by 20:00 on Sunday the 13th August.

Due to the Croatian tourist law each attendee is required to pay tourist tax. This can be paid upon arrival directly to the tourist board located at the gate of the festival.

 

Please prepare the exact change to avoid long queues and to ensure a fast and smooth entrance to the festival.

We have a festival shuttle departing from Slunj to the festival location and back. Shuttle bus times will be released closer to the event date.

Children aged 14 years and under are admitted free when accompanied by a ticket-holding parent or a legal guardian.

 

Parents need to register their children at children@modemfestival.com with following information: child's name, surname and date of birth; parents address and contact number; next of kin & emergency contact information (name and phone number).

 

It’s worth bringing official document if child looks older than 14 years.

Depending on the arrival direction, you can enter the festival through the Slunj or Ogulin gate. Parking located right next to the gate is the final destination for your car.

 

Car parking will be made possible only to visitors with a valid festival ticket.

 

Vehicles are parked entirely at the owner’s risk.

 

All car parking is not pre-designated and will be allocated on arrival at our discretion.

 

Any vehicle left on site past the given deadline will be removed and scrapped. All reasonable efforts will be made by Mo:Dem Festival to locate the owner and remove the vehicle before this takes place.

 

Mo:Dem Festival accepts no liability for costs incurred in the process of removal and disposal of vehicles. If a vehicle is stored beyond a given deadline, to facilitate collection any associated costs will be passed on to the legal owner.

Festival shuttles are operating constantly between the gates and camping area entrances. You can load your camping gear and luggage on the bus. You will only need to carry your stuff from the camping entrance to your chosen camping spot.

 

Camping will be made possible only to visitors with a valid festival ticket. Camping is allowed only in the designated camping area through the duration of the festival.

 

It is forbidden to set up tents outside of the fenced area of the camp or restricted areas of the festival camp.

 

Unregistered people and anyone without a valid festival camping wristband cannot enter the festival campsite and campers are not allowed to escort such individuals onto the festival campsite.

 

We don't provide tent rental service but Permansio, if you choose to use their transportation services, can add a stop off at a nearby supermarket and camping outfitters before dropping you at Mo:Dem's campsite.

 

You cannot camp next to your car. Camping is separate from the parking area.

Each person in the campervan must have a valid festival ticket.

 

There are three designated campervan areas. Once you receive your accreditation at the gate you will be directed to one of them. You are not able to choose which area you will camp in, allocation is on a first come, first serve basis. The campervan area is about a 10 minute walk to The Swamp stage. There is no extra charge for bringing your camper.

 

No tents may be erected in the campervan parking areas for fire safety reasons. Stewards will park you in position, please follow their direction and keep fire lanes clear.

 

No trading is permitted from caravans or camper vans.

 

Toilets are provided in the campervan parking areas and we recommend that attendees use these toilets rather than their own chemical toilets. If you are using your own chemical toilet, please note you must take the waste away with you. There are no facilities for accepting chemical waste and it must not be poured into the compost toilets. It is illegal to pour this waste onto the ground, into a sump or stream and anyone found doing this will be evicted from site and face a fine from the Environment Agency.

 

Whilst every effort will be made to accommodate campervans / caravans in your preferred caravan parking area, Mo:Dem Festival reserves the right to provide alternative facilities if deemed necessary or in the event of adverse conditions.

 

All litter must be cleared from your pitch and put into bins provided or taken home with you.

 

Cars are not deemed as live-in vehicles. Only converted live-in vans, campervans, caravans or trailer tents are classed as live-in vehicles.

 

There is no electrical hook up and generators are not permitted on site.

 

Security staff patrol the caravan parking and reserve the right to evict persons from the campervan field if they do not adhere to the terms and conditions.

 

Campervan entry will be closed from 23:00 until 08:00. If you arrive during these times you will need to wait at the festival entrance until the morning to be directed to the camper areas.

It is strictly forbidden to build fires or barbecues anywhere on festival grounds and parking lots.

 

Small, portable camping gas cookers are allowed.

 

Gas cookers are allowed. Please do not leave it unmonitored.

Festival venue and camping are placed in the area with little or none mobile network signal. Be sure to send the message back home while you still have network connection.

Expect hot and steamy days, and cold and humid nights. Prepare well and dress in layers.

Provided for free at designated areas across the festival site. Drinking water points are marked on our festival map.

Look after yourselves and each other. In the event of an emergency do not hesitate to call for help. We have two First Aid points, one near The Hive and one by The Swamp stage. Psycare crew will be on duty 24/7 to provide you with help and advice if needed.

With the exception of registered assistance dogs and guide dogs, well behaved dogs are only allowed in the designated campsites and campervan areas and must be kept on the lead at all times. Dogs are not allowed in the food court, shopping or anywhere near the music stages. Please be a responsible owner and clean after your dog.

We are all responsible for our own personal hygiene. All efforts are made by the organisation to provide you with the necessary tools for you to care for yourself. Washing you hands and having regular showers is the 1st step to personal wellbeing and health.

A conscious community is responsible for the natural environment. Clean up after yourself and leave this place in the same or a better state than how you found it. Please use rubbish bags and once full please close them and take them to the nearest collection point. Check the map for the one nearest your camping area. Nature is no place for rubbish and should not be used as a toilet.

Croatia will join the European Union in 2023, therefore all official Mo:Dem Shops, resturants and vendors will accpet Euros for the 2023 edition.

 

There will be no foreign exchange offices on the venue.

 

There are no ATM's at the festival venue. The nearest one is in the town of Slunj.

 

Only cash is accepted, no credit cards.

Lockers are providing safe, and secure space to store all your valuables while you dance the day away. Our service staff is there 24 hours a day for you and this way you have access to your valuables whenever you want!

Local market has the purpose to support the local community and provide you with authentic Croatian products. At the market you can find seasonal fruits and vegetables, cheese and milk products, honey, homemade cakes, etc.

 

The market includes bakery shop with fresh breads, pastries etc, as well as a convenience store for all your basic needs.
